As lifelong farmers, my husband and I have been Farm Bureau members for many years.  
We have both participated in numerous local activities, such as the annual Farm Expo,
food collection for Ronald McDonald House, establishment of a garden
at the elementary school, Ag Day, and the annual picnic.

I use my love for photography as a way to share our farm life and to show the beauty
of our area of Virginia.  The majority of my photos are taken within a 25-mile radius
of our farm, and many of them are taken right here on our farm
as we go about our daily chores.  

The Farm Bureau Photography Contest awards are another means of “showing off”
Craig County and the surrounding area to people who may never visit here,
since the photos are on display at the Farm Bureau annual convention.
